ISU never trailed, lead by as much as 20 points, and held on for the 62-50 win at home over Evansville. Evansville shot poorly (25.9%, 16.7% on threes)-
Drake played maybe their best game in the last couple years, beating Loyola 102-98.
They shot 54% overall (35-65), and 56% on threes (10-18 ), made 22-24 FTs (92%), and outrebounded Loyola 40-27.
Drake had a 20 point lead with 4:41 left in the game, and Loyola rallied to close the lead to 4 points several times within the final minute, but Drake made all their free throws and Loyola couldn't get any closer.
