  • HOF - Sommerville and Stalzer Dec 29

As a reminder, the first of our two 2016-17 Hall of Fame ceremonies will take place Thursday night when the Braves host Southern Illinois at Carver Arena. Since they are both on holiday break from their respective pro seasons, Marcellus Sommerville and Lindsay Stalzer (volleyball) will be honored Thursday night. They will be special guests during the Braves Club Pre-Game Party (5-7 p.m. in rooms 400-401 at the PCC) and inducted during halftime of Thursday night's game.

PEORIA, IL - Former Bradley stars Marcellus Sommerville (Peoria, IL/Peoria H.S.) and Lindsay Stalzer (Kewanee, IL/Kewanee H.S.) will enjoy a special holidays celebration Thursday night when they are enshrined into the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame during a ceremony at halftime of Bradley Basketball's Missouri Valley Conference opener against Southern Illinois at Carver Arena.

Chris Dunsheath (soccer), Meaghan LeBlanc (women's golf) and the 1995-96 men's basketball team will be honored Feb. 3-4 in the traditional setting with a Friday Braves Club Game Day Luncheon and Saturday halftime ceremony (Drake game).

I was very disappointed when I found out those former players were there but not acknowledged. I thought this was something that was going to be done as part of the change/new regime? PLEASE...LET'S ACKNOWLEDGE/HONOR THOSE WHO ACTUALLY COME BACK LIKE WE USED TOO!

Nice Youtube video for Marcellus Sommerville featuring a lot of his former teammates and coaches at Bradley and overseas.
