It's obvious, he's being ran off. There is no other explanation for his lack of playing time. It's not his grades, his health, his attitude or effort and it's not like we brought in a bunch of future NBA players.
Our program doesn't have the luxury of having players of Suggs caliber setting at the end of the bench.

I agree, and it's hard to figure out what's happened with Ronnie.

Guys we don't have the details. This staff knows what the heck they are doing. Here's to Ronnie getting things figured out and having an epic resurgence. I like watching him play.

Brian Wardle has said on more than one occasion that he was going to shorten the rotation and not play 12 guys....he has

To not have what I believe, your most consistent shooter and scorer not even get off the bench, is not good.

Is a redshirt out of the question?

I'd give him maybe top 5 shooter status.

              Best shooter we got? No.

not eligible to redshirt but if injured might still qualify for medical waiver

Since he has played 9 games, he is not eligible for a standard redshirt season. The NCAA allows any player to "redshirt" for a year only if they have not played in any games.

However, there is a different thing sometimes called a "medical redshirt". In order to qualify for that, a player must have a certifiable medical reason he cannot play, and must not have played in more than 30% of the team's scheduled games. Since the 9 games Ronnie has appeared in is less than 30% of the scheduled games (they have 31 scheduled games), he would still be eligible for a "medical redshirt". However, it requires a medical condition certified to the NCAA. To my knowledge, Ronnie is healthy, so this would not work.

In the past, it was not unusual for teams to claim medical redshirts for questionable or phony injuries when they realized a kid was not as good as they thought he was and would benefit from sitting out, but had already appeared in games. I know of at least a couple times this was done at Bradley in the past. But the NCAA has become more meticulous in looking into these cases now and requires more documentation that in the past.

I said shooter and scorer. There is a difference.

                      This.

Especially on a night where our offense couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if it fell out of a boat. Or something like that.

It's hard to understand how this can still remain a mystery. Has Coach been asked about it? If not, why not? My goodness, he's got a radio show after every game, has a weekly morning radio show on Greg and Dan, has a weekly evening radio show from local pubs, and of course there is the watchful eye of local sports journalists at the PJS and television stations.

If Coach has been asked this question before and dodged it, he needs to be asked it again.
Because as has been said earlier, something really seems fishy.

I really enjoyed watching Ronnie play and expected him to be a leader on this year's team. I never would have expected to see him at the end of the bench.

I hope he's OK, that we see him back in action soon, and that someone asks Coach Wardle about it to clear up the mystery.

The only answer I've heard that's been given on post-game shows is a rather non-specific one- "players get the playing time they earn in practice".
FWIW, his father has told me Ronnie is 100% healthy and is not being disciplined that they know.

He is not going to be asked too difficult of a question because Bradley essentially controls the media. Dave Snell works for the university and Greg & Dan who do his weekly morning radio show, work for WMBD who Bradley has a contract with to broadcast their games. Snell is good at play by play, but with his situation with the university, he is not going to press for answers from the coach.

It isn't Wardle's obligation to explain everything regarding his team to the fan base. There are situations where coaches and/or players don't want out in the open. It's not a right that we have really. The coach is hired to win while running a good program.......that's it
