    So you're saying it's "a must win"?

And when we have a PG who goes 0-5 with no assists and 2 turnovers, If sure think about giving some of those minutes to the best shooter and most efficient scorer we have.
Gotta change something or the few fans left are going to bail.
I don't see things changing until we start getting better players. I'm not going to single out individual players because they don't deserve it. But, if you look at the schools many of our players chose Bradley over, they aren't winning programs. I am afraid we may be recruiting Horizon League players to play in the Missouri Valley. That may be fine and dandy, if you want to finish in the bottom half of the standings.

I understand we don't have All MVC talent. But it is the continuous mistakes, poor judgement, poor fundamentals, and poor game plans I keep seeing. Those are correctable problems that just keep getting worse, not better.

Will Chicago State still be open by Saturday?

I will only be going to Saturday's game to see Joe get recognized at half time and see which former players are there. Probably will leave at half time. If not for the Stowell recognition, I would get a pizza somewhere and stay home and watch a game on television. Still may do that after half time. I have season tickets and at this point, I really don't care if I see another game. I've been going to games since the 1963-64 season and this is really sad. It's mostly people my age and older at the games. You don't see hardly any young people or high school kids there. But I guess you cant' blame them when we haven't been very good and they have their high school games to go to on nights when a lot of our games are scheduled (Friday and Saturday). That's a marketing nightmare when you're trying to grow your fan base. You lose the kids and the parents.

We not only don't have All-MVC talent. We have very little MVC talent. We have a bunch of average, at best, one dimensional players. When you have that, once the scouting reports get out, you're done. You can make game adjustments but you won't see results. At this level, you can't have one dimensional players and win. Throw in poor fundamentals and you have what we are witnessing. At this stage of playing, you can't coach good fundamentals. It's too late. I am beginning to be concerned about our the ability of our coaches' to evaluate Missouri Valley talent. We should not be seeing the poor caliber of basic fundamentals.

We play soft and that is a reflection of the type of player Wardle is recruiting. Wardle can make all the excuses he wants about needing to get into the weight room so we can rebound better. That's a bunch of garbage. You don't have to be strong to be aggressive. It's a mindset. We don't have it and he hasn't recruited it.
Agree with everything. Bradley basketball in 1 word is SOFT. Looks like we are playing 4 on 5 on both ends of the court. We have to be the easiest team in D-1 to defend. 1) we make unforced turnovers with lazy passing 2) we set (and get called for) illegal screens 3) we dribble and pass around the perimeter with no purpose 4) we almost look like we don't want to take good shots and 5) when we do get an easy look down low, we are not athletic enough to go up strong and stick it in on someone's grill and when fouled will not likely hit the free throws anyway.

Let's start Brown, Suggs, Kennel, Foster and Bar

Is this when we should say to "trust the process". It worked for the Cubs!

That's the million dollar question that everyone wants to know and no one seems to have the answer to.

How does Suggs go from 31 minutes a game promising freshman, to just barely getting off the bench? His best games last year came against better competition than what we've played so far this year. And we all see when he gets in the game he makes plays right away, both on offense and defense. We had a great foundation laid with a nice core group. Hopefully we can turn it around soon.

BU gave the previous administration 4 years to destroy a successful program and leave Coach Wardle with nothing. He had to start from scratch. Give him more than 1 full season and a handful of games this season. Hope Coach Wardle and his team can shut the critics up.

I'm trying to think of any reason to spend a precious Saturday night at a Bradley/Chicago State game.

                        Good basketball?
                        Cheap concessions?
                        Rowdy excited crowd?
                        Balmy weather?
                        Game not streamed?

                        No No No No No

Not to mention the ballet is at the same time, so parking will be worse.

Probably the same reason many of us old timers went to the Fieldhouse to see the Braves play Oshkosh St and many other teams of that caliber. The Braves were playing.

                            We have a problem!

Chico & Molar 50......Take off the rose colored glasses guys. It is what it is.
Clearly, we have a problem and it isn't getting any better.

I'm not ready to give up yet, but I must admit, I was expecting to see players that could execute fundamentals better this year than last. So far I haven't. That is what really concerns me. That is where the frustration comes in. You're right. It is what it is. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

I'm leaving my glasses on because I realize this is 2016 and major college basketball has changed and not for the better for teams like Bradley. ESPN for example has made teams powerhouses by giving them constant exposure which helps recruiting. How many MVC games are on ESPN or other channels? Bradley played CCNY and LaSalle in NCAA championship games in the 50's. Ever hear of them anymore? Wiz, maybe you should face facts and realize that up until 6 years or so ago Bradley was still drawing crowds of over 9000 loyal Bradley fans who knew this wasn't the 50's and 60's anymore, but were still LOYAL Bradley fans. Let's give Coach W more than 1 year and 9 games. GO BRAVES.
