Great job in the clutch, Braves! BU 87 - EIU 83
        I AM ENCOURAGED

-we're putting points on the board
-we made the FT's late when it really mattered
-very balanced scoring - 5 guys in double figures
        -we outrebounded them big time

areas we cannot make excuses for and HAVE TO improve..
-bad turnovers - don't seem to place a high enough value on maintaining possession
-HAVE to do better on FT's
-common sense - a couple of those long, cross-court lob passes that were horrible are NOT good decisions
-and lastly - when there's under 5 seconds and we have a 5 pt lead - YOU DO NOT FOUL and stop the clock!

Lots of areas to improve on (defense and FT specifically) but a win on the road is always great. If we played the whole game like the last 2 minutes of regulation and overtime this game would never have made it to OT.

This team is fun to watch and they can score which is something we haven't had for a few years.

our first win in Charleston, IL in 90 years!!

one other thing I liked tonight

                KEY contributions off the bench

4pts, 4 strong rebounds early by Callum Barker
8-9 from the FT from DLO
a key 3-pointer by Nate Kennell
                20 rebounds by our bench

A great all around effort. We may be winning more games sooner than I thought. This is a group of overachievers. Way to go. BU

I think we celebrate the win...but there are still going to be some frustrating games this year that will drive us all nuts......

Excellent road win and a lot of toughness shown down the stretch. I am also encouraged!

Missed the game again, but Koch with 14 boards, 3 blocks, and 0 fouls? Is that right? I need to catch a game. Impressed with a freshman who is getting some boards, blocking shots, and not fouling. I realize the competition has been poor, but encouraging in small sample size.

Man it's fun to watch wins again for a change! BOO YA!
This team is making the mistakes that unfortunately one would predict with youth and early season dynamics... what this group refreshingly does NOT seem to have is the classic road team inferiority complex we see over and again. It's time to spread the word and start getting fans back in the arena so we can gain some home adv. The era of embararassment appears to be ending.
                              Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

To have 24 turnovers on the road and still win is pretty darn good. It helps when you out rebound the other team by 23. Can't remember a BU team in recent memory that has done that. If Koch has more games like this we'll be in double digits in the win column and we won't be playing on Thursday in St. Louis. Of course the question becomes can he? Tough game against Nevada on Saturday. They only play about 6-7 guys so we'll see if our depth becomes a factor again. Hopefully the home crowd will be in a good mood.
