Sun Times high school basketball writer Michael O'Brien listed his Top 60 players in the state of Illinois-

Though the article does not specify, this obviously is a list of only the top Chicago area players, since he does not include any downstate player, despite the fact that the consensus top two players in Illinois are from downstate such as #1 Jeremiah Tilmon (East St. Louis) and #2 Jordan Goodwin (Belleville Althoff), as well as other standout players like DaMonte Williams (Peoria Manual).

Yeah- I guess he must have meant only the Chicago-area as he decides fit...
since some of those kids are from 40-50 miles away - in Kane County (West Aurora), Will County (Romeoville & Crete-Monee), and Lake County (Libertyville).
Similar Chicago lists even include a couple kids from Kankakee County 60-70 miles south, so I guess it goes as far out as he wants to go to get 50-60 players.
