      We still need to recruit shooters and physical players for up front play. It is much easier to teach a shooter to be a scorer than to teach a scorer to be a shooter. If you can't make 15 foot free throws consistently, you can't make 15 foot jump shots, with a hand in your face consistently.

        Bradley's next game is a road game (their first true road game) next Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Lantz Arena on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. It will be televised by WEIU TV Charleston, Illinois, and it appears that they have a Youtube channel that broadcasts some of their original programming online. However, it may not apply to the Bradley-EIU game, and if it does, it doesn't appear likely it will be a live broadcast.-
        WEIU-TV is a 25 percent PBS affiliate television station and service of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. WEIU's mission is to use its human and technological resources in partnership with others to benefit Eastern Illinois University, and help make Charleston and the surrounding area a better place to live, learn, work and play. We do this by: Complementing the work of the Communication Studies and Journalism departments of Eastern Illinois University by providing real-world training on state-of-the-art equipment to enable EIU students to become the most employable broadcast students in the United States. Promoting community service through quality programming that engages and educates; and community outreach that has a positive impact.

        The game will not be available on ESPN3.com

        So is anyone thinking of making a roadtrip?

          IMO, they could do away with that circle. Bunch of nonsense. Start winning first, then make a big show.

            1 Step Forward-2 Steps Backward

            Sorry guys to be so negative-It's not my usual nature-but I have to call then as I see them.....Here's some "Whys";
            WHY #1 - Why do we start almost every game super tight and unprepared for the first 10 minutes or so??
            WHY #2 - Why can't we make crip lat-ups. High School kids and girls can do this but we can't. WHY??
            WHY #3 - Why won't D Lo shoot 3s. He's a very good shooter but he simply passes shots up and won't shoot. WHY??
            WHY #4 - Why can't we shoot free throws? This is really costing us and will cost us the rest of the season if we can solve this problem.
            Our defense went in the tank the second half and we simply gave up....This is not like a Bradley Team! Shameful and embarrasing. This team has some serious issues that must be solved and most of them are mental IMO.

              I agree, ya can only use the "we are a very young team" only so long...
              the blown layups and FT's are inexcusable...we played a reasonably turnover-free game!

                I understand youth being a problem, but I for the life of me can not understand college kids that can't shoot free throws. I was at a 7th grade school game last night, where the winning team made 8 out 11 ft's and the last was missed on purpose so the clock would start. There was 1.1 seconds on the clock and they didn't want a full court pass to score. In my book that is an 80% night for 7th graders. Something better change and change soon. FT's have already cost us 2 games and there is no excuse for us to average just barely over 50%.

                  Amen. Free throws should be the focus. Once we get it fixed. Look out. Outside of Brown he's a stud. Rebounding and defense 2nd. I still like the offense. We are going to have some fun nights with this group.

                    This reminded me of a Summit League game. That won't play in Peoria. Youth and inexperience are no excuse for missed free throws, layups and 12-15 foot jump shots. We still haven't played a team anywhere near being a Top 100 team. Maybe that's a good thing.
