The Player of the Week announced yesterday (Mon. 11/21) was the MVC Preseason POY pick, Jeremy Morgan of UNI.
The Newcomer of the Week was junior college transfer Aundre Jackson of Loyola, who was not highly recruited, but he has come off the bench to lead Loyola in scoring with 15.0 ppg, and rebounding with 5.3 rpg, and he is shooting 78.7% (37-47) from the field after 6 games.
Aundre Jackson committed in late April, 2016 to Loyola, and had no other D1 offers. He is looking like a real steal for Porter Moser.
