Preseason Player of the Year is UNI's Jeremy Morgan.
Interesting that Deontae Hawkins did not get picked on either the 1st or 2nd teams.

8 different teams represented in the ten 1st & 2nd Team All Conference picks..
..and only 2 of the top seven returning scorers are on the 1st Team - four are on 2nd team...
Interesting that Deontae Hawkins was left off...
Bradley picked 8th - excellent chance to surprise the MVC, I like our chances but we gotta go out & prove it!!

The ESPN streaming is not good. No sound for most of the first 10 minutes of discussions, then as soon as the sound came on, they went to a long string of advertisements.
Now they are back, and just starting the discussion of the men's Preseason All Conference team.

They ran through the list of All MVC for men and women very quickly (took less than 3 minutes), then went back to more commercials.
They will return for interviews of the coaches, if anyone is interested in watching-

Some here have predicted that the MVC will be down this year, especially with all the senior talent that is gone and I have to agree. There is nothing in those pre-season picks that excites me much about the MVC, other than it could give Bradley a little better chance to climb up in the league. Please don't take this wrong, Jeremy Morgan is a nice player, but if the POY is a guy who only averaged 9.1 points/gm in MVC games, then it suggests the talent level will be way down this year. Bradley had 3 players with higher MVC scoring average. I know he does other things, but I doubt there is another conference in the country that will pick a 9 point/gm scorer as its POY.
