Chillicothe's Zach McAllister made a pretty spectacular play while pitching last night.
He only pitched one scoreless inning but he made a play on a line drive that is unlike any play I have ever seen.

While following thru on his delivery, using his lower left leg - he intentionally deflected a line drive that was hit,
and it deflected upwards and Zach then caught it as if it were a soft pop-up - for the out.
The rest of the infielders crack up laughing...

Zach struggled at times as a starter in past seasons but he has been pitching very well for the Indians as a reliever this season. He has only given up 1 run in his last 11 appearances covering 11 2/3 innings. In those 11 2/3 innings he has had 13 strikeouts and just 2 walks. He's lowered his ERA from 5.34 to 4.07 in that span.
