  • New Class of 2019 rankings

FWIW - these are kids just finishing their freshman high school season and starting as sophomores...

Bradley hasn't been recruiting too much that far ahead but a couple names near the top of the ranking are familiar names.

Koch Bar's old teammate Chol Marial - who once was #1 in Class of 2019, is ranked at #14
Future150 rankings for high school basketball recruits across the nation. Each player is carefully analyzed by Future150 staff.

#36 Sydney Curry has a Bradley offer...

The kid at #5, Tyger Campbell is currently at La Lumiere
One other kid - at #24 - is an Illinois kid

Another of Koch Bar's teammates, Luguentz Dort is #118 in Class of 2018 - LINK
Dort, if you recall just changed schools again, moving from Arlington Country Day to follow the coach Shaun Wiseman and is now at The Conrad School - another basketball powerhouse prep.
Wonder why these prep school coaches seem to change so often...
Wiseman is now at his 3nd school in just the last year (West Oaks, ACD, Conrad) and also his 4th in the last 3 years.
Alan Huss moved from Decatur Christian to Culver Academy to La Lumiere and then on to another position - all within just 3-4 years and now La Lumiere has a new coach...
Loren Jackson coach 3 different prep schools in just a 3 year span from when Boys to Men closed down..

One more thing - another brand new Class of 2017 ranking

Isn't #12 on the 2019 list a student at Normal West? I know the list has him as living in Jackson, Mississippi, but he was a student at Normal West last semester and is/was living with relatives who work at ISU. He wasn't eligible to play last year.

It appears you are right. Francis Chibuike-Okoro is now enrolled at Normal West HS-

Some sites have him rated as high as #2 nationally, though that seems to be based on potential, since he is described as quite raw, and he did not play high school ball last season at all.

Nice finds. I've also heard that he might be a year or two old for his class as he was held back for academic reasons. Still interesting to have a kid that is that talented who is right in our backyard. Given how often he had already moved, however, I don't know how long he will be staying in Normal. I believe he is living with his aunt and uncle right now.

Even with Romon Douglas-Watkins out, the Big 12 is going to be loaded with D-1 talent this season.

Yes, he has moved a lot already. He is only a sophomore this coming year (class of 2019), yet he has already been at Jackson, Mississippi, and Nashville Tennessee, before transferring midseason last year to Normal West and sitting out the rest of his freshman season. He has also played for multiple AAU programs. It will be interesting to see if he is eligible this coming season at NWHS, and if so, how he looks.
