#144 Illinois - picked 12th in Big Ten
#140 Indiana State - picked 5th in MVC -LINK
#134 Fordham (Jaden Uken is there)
#133 Green Bay - a Warren Jones mention but they don't think he will start - picked #2 in Horizon
#120 Stony Brook - picked #2 in America East - let's see if Geno Ford helps them do even better!

pretty accurate except no mention of the issues, the mutinies, the massive annual player revolts & departure, and the fact that Barry has a way of alienating a lot of players and getting very little out of them. Time will tell.
the #101 team is Weber State so we're down to the Top 100 now and there will be 3 Valley teams
I suspect they will have ISU and UNI somewhere in the 40-60's and Wichita a little above that
Last year there were FOUR MVC teams (Evansville #72, UNI #53, ISU #47, Wichita #14) in the preseason Top 100 and #101 was Indiana State
But back in 2006 & 2007 the Valley had SIX teams in the Top 100

another site just ranked the TOP 100 players in College basketball...
I am surprised how many mid-major players they have - kinda expected to see the starting five of every ACC, Big East or Big Ten team...
but they sure don't have many MVC guys in mind...
Here are at least a couple of familiar names on their list...
52 - Valparaiso's Alec Peters
87 - Missouri State's Dequon Miller

So the only MVC player they have in the Top 100 player list is Dequon Miller at #87? No Wichita State players? None of the ISU players? No Jeremy Morgan from UNI, who I think will be the preseason POY? That is not a very good endorsement of the MVC.

Hmm...they were not good last year with an 11-20 record, but those 11 wins were built largely with a real cupcake non-con slate when they went 6-3 against Mercer, Georgia Southern, etc..
Then when their best player left school &/or flunked out depending on what you read...
they went 2-12 from the end of January on...pretty pathetic and then they lost their two other best players to graduation!
so...going into his 3rd year at Auburn, this might be Bruce's biggest challenge yet - but hey- he's supposed to be a great coach - shouldn't he be able to win when he has a roster full of Top 100 recruits, and he hasn't done it yet at Auburn, so I guess we'll see....
The CSM Countdown is down to #44
and that's San Diego State, predicted to win the Mountain West and also
paired up in the MWC/MVC Challenge with Loyola on December 3.
