Ryan Sharbaugh admitted he was not at all familiar with Central IL but liked everything he has encountered here so far...
He knew Kiel Turpin quite well, a Central IL kid who went on to play at Florida State - one of the few kids who got the Sam-Singh-type of 6th year waiver to play an extra year - and who is now doing very well playing professionally (16 ppg & 13 rpg!).

The hiring of Ryan Sharbaugh, news first mentioned here four days ago - has yet to be "Officially" announced and he's not yet been added to the coaches' page
but there are confirmations of his hiring - mostly coming from Florida State

Ryan Sharbaugh was briefly introduced by Coach Wardle at Monday night's event at the Renaissance Coliseum, but I am surprised no official press release has come from the Bradley Athletic Department. They usually make a big public announcement with new coaching staff hires.
Even the Peoria Journal Star seems to be ignoring Bradley. There has been no mention of Ryan or anything related to Bradley basketball recently. The last article on their Bradley Hoops page was from almost a month ago, and they had little or no coverage of the Hilltop Hoopin' event or the Alumni game-
