Although the atmosphere was pretty good last night, the one thing that bothered me at our game was that with a tie game and less then a minute left people were still sitting.
with less than two mins or so, the radio announcers, snell and stowell? were shocked that people in the stands were leaving. what did you guys that were there think about that??
Score be damned, socializing is over let get out of here to beat that nasty Bradley traffic.
yeah that 10 min drive to get out of downtown is a rough one!
Hey taking that walk to across Jefferson to the parking deck then taking that left then the other left to the other left to 74 isnt easy, I can completely understand leaving early in a tied game versus SIU, makes complete sense BTW that stuff at BU has been going on for years, for many its a social thing plain and simple.
I still stand by the fact that the crowd is taken out of many games by stupid gimmics during time outs and the lack of the band to play constantly during dead ball situations. Also, if it wasn't for us old folk there wouldn't be a Bradley basketball program

well I wouldn't go that far, but I will admit that more Bradley students need to get pumped about going to games...

The gimmicks normally have a sponsor associated with them so those are not going to stop, but the playing of the band would be really good more often during a game.
my family has season tickets in the upper bowl. i had the opportunity to watch the mo state game from the lower bowl at midcourt just in front of ray lahood. when my father and I yelled and cheered the team on, people around us gave us dirty looks. most of them sat the entire time.
the view was nice, but the fans in the lower bowl made me wish i was up in our normal seats.

Please, DO NOT let those "people" curb your Fathers and your enthusiasm!
We call it the "Bradley 500".........no matter what the score is...at the 5 minute mark people get up and race to their autos in the decks......to lead-off the "Bradley 500"? You wait all summer for the games to begin and all you can think of is beating the others out of the parking deck?
Hey - I am there til the end every game. Then I have to wade through the crowd til I get out in the open... then the race is on... I'll jog to my wheels... then it is just knowing the right lane to take where and when... lately I am catching the first post-game interview with a player as I am merging onto the interstate.
