Rick Karius is our Director of Men's Basketball Operations - and he's stil listed as such on the BU web site
But this listing of the DBO opening strongly suggests that either he is leaving that position or maybe he's moving up on the coaching staff and one of the guys above him are leaving (Drew Adams, Mike Bargen, Jimmie Foster).
I guess we will have to wait to find out, there's nothing official being reported.

It would seem unlikely that Coach Karius will be able to fulfill his planned role as head coach of the Always a Brave team in July.

I am now Associate AD for Communications and Operations and adding supervision of event management into my responsibilities. As such, we are adding an Assistant Director of Athletics Communications to handle the day-to-day sports information duties of men's basketball and the cross country/track programs. While my responsibilities are expanding - I will continue to oversee Athletics Communications - the new position will add resources to the area for improved coverage of all our teams.
