  • Bradley Basketball Feature Series: Summer of Work

I hope everyone finds this an enjoyable and interesting series, a collaborative effort between the team, myself, Dave Snell and Hayley Zedek spotlighting a player a week from today through Sept. 22. Season of Work includes a written profile and is accompanied by a video session with Coach Wardle and the spotlighted player, modeled after Jon Gruden's QB Camp series on ESPN.

Today's debut spotlights Donte Thomas. Enjoy

Thanks BP - loved seeing that video...
the fact that NOBODY ever played at a "higher level" or with more of a "motor" than Brian Wardle when he was in college - gives him quite a bit of credibility when he asks that of his players -- GO Braves!!

Bobby Parker: Thanks for the coordinated production of series on players. It is helpful for the interested Bradley fan base. Many of us out here may seem silent but watching very closely.

Two pieces of information in this post: the third installment of Season of Work, featuring freshman forward Jerome Merritt, is being postponed until Friday as our staff has been working diligently to prepare the new BradleyBraves.com for launch. The new site will launch overnight tonight (same URL).

Nothing worse in this profession than dealing with a website relaunch. But on the positive side, the third installment of Season of Work, featuring Jerome Merritt, is now posted:

is that it - or are you still upgrading...did you delete all those "Archives" - the all time roster and all the pages that were historical from past media guides? Or will that eventually be added?

The 4th instiallment - DLO - is posted

The fourth installment of the Bradley Basketball "Season of Work" series is posted (depending on how quickly you go to the story, there may be an audio glitch in the accompanying video, but it is being fixed and should be corrected by the time I finish typing). This week's spotlight shines on Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, who has just returned to England in preparation for the 2016 FIBA U20 European Championships July 15-24 in Greece.

Most of us noted his improvement late in the season...
from Jan 30 thru the end of the season he scored 140 points in 10 games...
...so his scoring average of 14 ppg in that span would have ranked him in the TOP TEN in the MVC.
In fact - all but two of those who averaged that much in either Valley play and overall play are now gone-
