Most of us noted his improvement late in the season...
from Jan 30 thru the end of the season he scored 140 points in 10 games...
...so his scoring average of 14 ppg in that span would have ranked him in the TOP TEN in the MVC.
In fact - all but two of those who averaged that much in either Valley play and overall play are now gone-

And as Coach Wardle pointed out in the Season of Work video, and as some here noted last season, much of that had to do with DLO's shot selection. His shot selection improved noticeably in the last half of the season and that was the biggest factor in his improved scoring and higher shooting percentage, and the video confirms that he is still improving in that area.
