Long time Bradley fan and donor Dale Burklund dies

Dale Burklund, 70+ year Bradley fan, Braves Scholarship Society member, and who has donated millions of dollars to Bradley and the Bradley Athletic Department passed away Tuesday, May 3. The Burklund Family Heritage Hall Museum in the lobby of the Renaissance Coliseum was named in his honor after his gifts helped create it.

I am saddened to hear of Dale's passing. He will be greatly missed. He was at nearly every Bradley function for many years, and was always generous with all his gifts to the basketball program. But I am puzzled that his obit lists his memberships, activities, and philanthropic efforts, which are many, but it completely omits Bradley, which was such a big part of his life. I've heard rumors, but does anyone know why his obit would ignore all he's done for Bradley?
