  • Roster for 2016-17

The roster page has been updated with all the new players added (except Lou Griffith) - and bios already up

of note - D'Angelo McBride is no longer listed on the roster - likely he's not going to remain as a walk-on

Darrell Brown, Jr. will wear #5
Koch Bar will wear #12 (that was D'Angelo McBride's number last year)
    Jerome Merritt will wear #20
    Nate Kennell will wear #25
    Jayden Hodgson will wear #35

Is one for offense and one for defense?

          Alex Foster

I am just wondering why so much shade on this kid? he hasn't played in one game at Bradley and it seems that some people on here have already deemed him as a failure.....I don't understand that. I read where someone said that they don't trust him as far as they can see him.....what is that about? has he been known as having bad behaviors on or off the court? Would someone please help me understand why the negative remarks on this kid that sat out this pass season!!!

            Regarding Alex Foster-
I don't recall seeing anyone saying some of those things like "deeming him a failure" or "don't trust him as far as they can see him". I read every post here and am certain that such statements were never posted on this board. I even searched for everything said here about Foster, and came up with nothing remotely like those comments.
            Where did you see that?

Dave Reynolds posted a glowing article praising him back in January-

But my only reason for tempered optimism is that Texas Tech was a bad team for the 2 seasons he played there, yet he played very little, and his production was negligible-

what kid are we talking about here? Several names were mentioned above -

              Brown, Bar, Kennell, Merritt, Hodgson?
None have had multiple, repeated or serious "behavior" issues that I am aware of - and the worst issue any have apparently ever had was an ordinance issue for fireworks..
..but facts never matter to some who like to populate message boards and trash others...as we have seen repeatedly on other message boards...as I just saw this morning where some are trashing a couple of the recruits just for no other reason that that they come from Florida.

I'm talking about Alex Foster, I don't know why his minutes were limited at Texas Tech and that we may never know. I just think that Bradley Fans should give all the guys that committed to BU a chance to prove themselves this coming season without negativity towards them. Because you never know who's reading this.

I've never heard anything bad about Alex as far as attitude or getting into trouble. I do know in his two years at Texas Tech, as Da Coach indicated, he did not log many minutes for a very poor basketball team. The minutes he did log were not very productive. Sometimes a change in scenery can be helpful. I think we will see a player similar to Mike Shaw.

With the 2016-17 season approaching, D'Angelo McBride still is not listed on the roster, so barring any changes, the only walk-on players this season will be sophomore Peter Hanley, and redshirt freshman Lou Griffith.
