Bradley has made their decision and hired a new women's basketball coach, though it has not been officially announced yet.
The new coach is Andrea Gorski, who is the Associate Head Coach at Southern Illinois University. She has been the top assistant under Cindy Stein for the last 3 years at SIU. Cindy Stein had success for many years at Missouri and in her short stint at ICC, before being hired at SIU in 2013. In their 3 years at SIU they have turned the program around from a bottom dweller into one of the top teams in the MVC.
Andrea Gorski is a 1992 Bradley grad who was a star player for the Bradley women. Her name then was Andrea McAllister. She is originally from Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She was the team's leading scorer in 1991-92
She was also the winner of the Watonga Award in 1992-
She was a graduate assistant coach for BU for a short time after she finished up her playing career, then went on to coach for many years at the high school level in Michigan, then at the college level (Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan), as well as AAU before joining Cindy Stein's staff at SIU.
She is a 1996 inductee into the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame.
