      • Final:
        Always a Brave 70
        Team Colorado 78

        Box score is still pending

Congratulations to the Always a Brave players and the other people who helped get them to the Final Four (Bobby, A.J., Coach Buescher and the others). They never gave up, and made Bradley fans proud. Team Colorado played extremely well and did a good job defending Marcellus, POB, and the Braves' guards.

        • New to posting, but been a very long time lurker on this great website. Finally felt it was time to post after watching Always A Brave in this tournament, and I couldn't be more proud of what this team did. Aside from playing great basketball, this squad has built a legacy for Braves basketball, and for the 2nd time (1st being their sweet sixteen run), they truly put our Bradley Braves and the city of Peoria back on the map. Congrats to a great run, thanks for being incredible alumni, and thanks for the positive legacy these great players continue to give to Bradley basketball. I am beyond excited for our Braves to take the court this fall, and I look forward to what hopefully becomes, an annual Always A Brave tradition in the TBT!!

          • I agree, and I hope we will see other great BU players like Andrew Warren, Walt Lemon, Zach Andews, Lawrence Wright, Theron Wilson, Taylor Brown, Chris Roberts, and Dyricus Simms-Edwards play for future Braves Alumni teams. I think a couple extra players on the current team might have made the difference, especially when Daniel Ruffin went down.

            • Proud of everyone from the players to the coaching staff....knew it would be tough sledding when Ruffin went down....but they still hung tight....would be nice to see Zach play with this group next season!

              • Overseas Elite wins the second semifinal game 103-92 and advances to the championship again. They are a very good team, and could repeat as champions. They will play team Colorado Tuesday night at 7 PM Eastern (6 PM Central) on ESPN.

                • Great game! Always a Brave represented well, and hope to see a similar performance next year, maybe with a few new players!

Hey TBT, if you are listening, maybe pick a Chicago/Chicagoland venue for the final games next year? I think we might be back...and you want to sell more tickets, right?

                  • thanks for the memories

It was fun to watch these guys who are some of my favorites. It also brought back great memories and hope that we will have this type of talent and heart again soon. If the players from TBT read this --- Thank You

IMO, cheer for a Team Colorado blow out. It will validate we were beat by the best team, a team we threatened all the way to the end. Not unlike 1986, when we lost to the eventual champions, Louisville

I believe the Braves gave Louisville their closest game in the tournament. That was a trip to Ogden I'll never forget.

Not true. Bradley gave them a closer game than #3 seed North Carolina gave them. However, Louisville had closer games.

                            beat #15 Drexel by 20
                            beat #7 Bradley by 14
                            beat #3 UNC by 15
                            beat #8 by Auburn 8
                            beat #11 LSU by 11
                            beat #1 Duke by 3

                            • but in some sense it was perhaps Louisville's tightest game all the way to the title game- with Louisville never being able to forge more than a 5 pts lead until the final 5-6 minutes
