Bradley introduces NEW logo

oddly, as I read the PJStar story on this new logo - the story tells us nothing except it simply bundles together a bunch of criticisms...
it is filled with snide little insults from the same very small minded people that supported Joanne Glasser, Mike Cross and their efforts to destroy Bradley including the waste of a couple hundred thousand bucks developing the boring shield-B-logo.
The references to "all the problems" Bradley has comes literally from one of the gang that caused all the problems Bradley has... LOL
I guess it's ironic that the JG-buttsniffers thought it was great when Cross wasted a bundle & came up with that boring logo - now that Dr. Roberts tries to make a change so it can be used & actually have someone know what the heck the B means - the same people like Kirk Wessler can't handle it.
Personally I will support BU no matter what logo they have but I still scour ebay to buy stuff with this-
rather than stuff with this..

Bradley Braves
I think the previous administration wanted to get rid of the Braves how ever they could. The Bradley Braves logo before the B was great. How can you say the new B logo is more professional when there are many teams that just use a single letter in there logo.Boring in my opionion

I tend to agree, especially with the Athletics logo. I have always thought it lost it's distinctiveness with the change to the rather generic-looking shield with the B.
But I do think they would sell a ton more merchandise if they ever change back to something more distinctive, or if the BU Athletics logo ever incorporates the mascot or the name Braves more prominently.
Here is what I mean-
Or anything like these-

Saint Louis just changed their mascot....
they are still the BILLIKENS, but they have changed the appearance of their mascot
Thay had always been a silly, cartoonish jovial figure like this...
Now their mascot is a bit more sinister, angry-looking, and for some inexplicable reason seems to have an odd two-faced appearance like that Batman character.
There's already a lot of criticism & ridicule

Not sure why and why now....but the Bradley Scout is now revisiting the issue of Bradley's mascot
I'm pretty sure there's not going to be another change...

I like Kaboom. I thought he was a little silly at first, but he has grown on me and I like the name and figure as is on some of our greatest campus buildings.
Sure Id like to see The Brave again do that great dance, but Id rather be in control than fight a never ending battle of political correctness.
I see no need for a change.

Ok here's an idea for the logo. So crazy it either happens or ends all arguments on the matter. I love that we are still the braves but hate that our mascot has nothing to do with the name. My solution:
1. Nickname remains the Braves
2. We have a "tribe" of 3 Mascots... hmmm this is beginning to sound like a Native American association which is a problem
3. Our "tribe" consists of 3 Chiefs...... this surely won't be allowable u say
Tribal Chiefs Mascots:
1. "Chief Justice"(a judge character)... has a caricature type face, white hair, gavel, and he "rules over the court"
2. "Chief of Staff"... military character, huge superhero jaw, in charge of attacking the other team(offense), and our defense of course, he also would run the T-Shirt Cannon
3. "Chief Officer"(police officer)...maintains order on the court, in charge and tracks all "violations" handed out to the other team by the refereees
So there ya go, 3 Chiefs to rule over the braves that have no Native American Association whatsoever 👀😂DUBL R 1

I don't know, Dubl R 1. It's creative, but it might still not work with the gestapo NCAA. We used to have the "Chief's Club", and Bradley was forced to drop the Chief's name and change it to Braves Club, since Chief's was not our nickname, and thus it was felt the use of the term Chief's was used because of its Native American connotation. I think Bradley will want to stay away from any use of the word Chief.
