Evansville lost 3 important players from this year's team- Adam Wing, D.J. Balentine and Mockevicius. But now they have to deal with another big loss. Mizlav Brozja, the 6th man of the Year, has announced he is leaving school and will pursue a pro career in Europe.

I like Marty Simmons as a coach, and I know very little about the players they have coming in next season, but I had Evansville pegged as a Thursday team next year before this loss. With Brozja gone, I don't think they'll have the horses to compete in the top half of the Valley. I think they're going to take a huge step back next year. They still have a few good players, I like Jaylon Brown and Christian Benzon, plus having Blake Simmons back will help, but they're just losing too much for them to remain near the top of the conference.Comment
