Here is an intriguing one...
DI Lewis University star Max Strus...who is a sophomore but maybe would be a grad transfer if he's got the coursework doner - a 6-6 guard (Jeremy Crouch-type) - good shooter, can definitely create his own shot,
and yet plays well in all other aspects.... hits close to 50% overall, 36% from the arc, 82% on FTs
is leaving and planning to transfer to a DI - like Jimmy Gavin did...
He is a solid DI talent averaging 20.2 ppg, 8.4 rpg, and 3.5 asst
He already has well over 1000 career points and has two years of eligibility left.
He may have to sit out a year if he does not get the grad-transfer exemption.
Check this out-
In an early season game against ISU back on November 10, 2014, Max went for 30 pts, hitting 11-16 & 7-11 from 3-pt
Then check what he did in this game!

here's an appealing transfer case.....
Austin Arians is transferring from Milwaukee after Coach Rob Jeter was fired.
There could be others, but Arians is experienced and eligible immediately -
11.4 ppg, 85% on FTs, 35.3% on 3-pt, 4 rpg, and extremely few turnovers - only 21 all season in over 1000 min of play. (Compare to most players on our team had 50-60+ turnovers in 700-800 min of play)
I'm guessing Brian Wardle knows the kid since he is from Stoughton, WI (just outside Madison) was Class of 2012.
When we last played Milwaukee in 2013, Arians had 17 pts, 5 rebs and hit 4-8 from beyond the arc.

Akeem Springs spoke out and harshly attacked the current AD - who is not at all well liked by athletes & fans - so I guess you can imagine his goose is cooked at UWM - and I suspect he has no choice but to transfer.
But he has been in college since 2012 (one year at NIU and the last 3 years at UW-M - one of which was a redshirt) so according to this column,
HE IS "IN LINE TO GRADUATE after taking summer courses" and thus would be immediately eligible next season.
An AD or University President that sabotages their own programs just so they can look powerful or get the thrill of picking their own head coach replacements - are ego-maniacs - they will ultimately undermine all their programs and destroy any credibility they have, plus they will deeply insult and offend a huge number of fans & supporters and create financial havoc overnight. We've seen it before, and now it's happening at UW-M.

This guy was once a Bradley recruit
One other guy - Grant Weatherford - is leaving Purdue... was 3-Star out of HS
and was an Indiana Elite player - coached the father of our assistant Drew Adams..
..so could he land here?Last edited by tornado; 04-01-2016, 08:05 AM.

Shamet - 6'4 4* talent, medical redshirt this year, Will play some PG
Frankamp - 6'0, 4* top 50 talent that didn't impress this year deferring to Fred/Ron, Will play PG
Smith - 6'4 Junior Juco Transfer, Will play PG
Allen - 6'5, 3* transfer from Texas A&M, transfer redshirt last year - Primarly SG
Keyser - 6'3 4* Freshman combo guard
Reaves - 6'5 Freshman guard, probably a combo of SG/PG
That's 6 players fighting over 40 minutes at 2 spots, with 4 of those probably already higher on the rotation list (Frankamp, Shamet, Smith, Allen) and the other 2 have 3-5 inches on him.
He will be a great player somewhere, just didn't fit well in the offense.
