they play the Thursday play-in game (First Four) against Vanderbilt to get the 11 seed in the South Regional then prob play Arizona

then Cal with a 4-seed in the South...seriously - They were 4th in their own conference, non-conference SOS 84, eight Top 50 losses!

You have got to be kidding..
Syracuse is in as a 10-seed with 13 losses...
they are the 10th best team in the ACC with RPI of 72 and lost 5 of their final six games!!

UNI as an 11 seed has a very winnable game vs. overrated Texas who have 9 losses vs. Top 50 teams

It gets worse every year for the midmajors. Since the NCAA now claims to use the "eye test" instead of their own RPI figures, they can now reward all their buddies in the Big 5 conferences. Lets see how many at large bids go to midmajors.

The people at St. Bonaventure must be sick. They had an RPI of 29 and were left out, while Vanderbilt had an RPI of 61 and got an at-large bid.

          Full bracket-

              St. Bonaventure - RPI 30
              Valparaiso - RPI 49
              Monmouth - RPI 52
San Diego State - RPI 41
              South Carolina - RPI 65

all left out so Syracuse (RPI 72) - who are under major NCAA sanctions this season and shouldn't even have been eligible!!! and Tulsa ( RPI 5 - can get included..

Interviewing the committee chairman Joe Castiglione- all he'll talk about is how they based their decisions on bubble-teams on "metrics", which is their code word for "we rewarded our buddies and screwed the midmajors.

                  Wichita is in...

As usual, the "committee" did it again! How in the world is Michigan State not a #1 seed? Five losses early in the season when Denzel Washington was out. They beat Maryland and Purdue in consecutive games in the Big 10 tournament and they have fewer losses than other #1 seeds.
And how did Texas A & M get seeded ahead of Kentucky when Kentucky just defeated them? Hard to understand.

It is very obvious that they finish the bracket BEFORE games on Sunday.....

or "we kissed the a&& of the big boys so they don't get mad and leave the NCAA and organize their own competing group"

St. Bonaventure should have gotten in. This is an opportunity for the mid-major teams that did get in, to go out and get some wins against the big boys, to show other mid majors should have gotten in.

Both UNI and Wichita State are #11 seeds, but UNI appears to have gotten the higher seed, since WSU is playing in the First Four play-in tournament, and UNI has the bye. A little strange.

Teams with "Auto-Bids" are NOT to be in the PLAY-IN games. PLAY-IN games for the 11/12 seeded teams are for the "last 4 At-Large" teams to play their way into the field of 64.

So Wichita was one of the Last 4 In At-Large teams.

WSU was 43 on the S-Curve, UNI was 46. Auto-Bids can't play in the play in game unless they are 16 seeds. So the last 4 at-large and the last 4 auto bids.

IMO they should change that to allow for auto bids to be sent to Dayton if they didn't win their regular season championship. They already got rewarded for getting hot for a weekend, no need to give them any more reward over the regular season winners.
