Maybe that is because some were invested in the program more than others. I talk to people every day who still harbor resentment. They realize it might still be a couple more years before we finally ever see a winning team again, something we had for 5 straight years until the hammer fell on Jim Les.

Lot's of mistakes were made??¦and some can disagree on the severity of them too I guess but I think everyone agrees it looks like we have the right pieces now??¦??¦no guarantee that success follows of course but it all sure looks better than it has for awhile. I'll focus my energy on supporting them now than worrying about the past with administration, coaches, and reporters. I won't forget it all though but I'm not going to think about it much

But I am just fine. It is possible to move on but just not forget the past.
Maybe you should go try to assuage those who admit they cannot get over everything that happened and still need years and hundreds of pages of ongoing Therapy.
They're the ones who need the help.

Spring Signing Period
VENT...... I agree with you. I am becoming very weary of posts with the continuous and unending rehashing of the Les and Ford era. DC and t, you both are great guys, super BU fans and supporters, and you do a teriffic job with this message board, BUT....It's time to stop kicking the dead horse and move on. Lets focus on what's ahead and the bright future we are building.

our local newspaper writers repeatedly say we are pursuing David Burrell and that internet recruiting sites mention Burrell as a Bradley recruit.
He was originally from Milwaukee and was linked to Green Bay when Wardle was there...
I am still waiting for someone to post a link or something regarding a link between BU & Burrell, because I have seen and checked many such sites and find none that connect Burrell with Bradley.
Not saying we aren't recruiting him, but would love to see the "internet recruiting site" that says so...
UIC is reportedly recruiting him

Thanks Wiz. I have followed Bradley basketball since the 1962-63 season. I have contributed financially since 1974. But since I have been a fan for parts of 6 decades and a financial contributor for parts of 5 decades, I do not look at myself as a more important fan than the person that just started following them this season. There are people that give more money than me and people that give less money than me. I really don't care. I am just as impressed by those who give less than me, and in some cases probably can't afford it, as I am the person that gives thousands upon thousands. I do not expect anything in return from Bradley basketball, such as hand shakes, getting my picture taken or other ego trips. I do however expect a good product. We had it in the 60's and again in the 80's on a consistent basis, when the Valley was one of the top 5 conferences in the country. Let's hope we can get back to being competitive in the same conference, that struggles to stay in the top 10.

I think most people who donate simply expect responsible decisions and actions by Bradley's leadership. That is pretty much why half of the season ticket buyers and half of the athletic department donors dropped out during the Glasser/Cross era.
I won't list all the poor decisions again just so I don't rile anyone up, but there were dozens of them. Let me know if you want examples.
And btw, it is not just DC and t who feel this way. There are thousands of others, but unfortunately, they are the former fans who have disappeared and may never return.

they said repeatedly that a simple smile, a "thank you" or even just making eye contact and saying "hi" would have gone a long way but unfortunately that's just the way the way the former AD did business.
Remember - support & donations were at an ALL TIME HIGH just a few years ago when Dr. Glasser took over
but hit historic LOWS just a couple years later! People just stopped giving because of the policies they saw..
