refs really stole that game from Stephen F. Austin and handed it to Notre Dame, 3 questionable fouls that all happened to go Notre Dame's way
and help them win in the final minute or so
...UNI, VCU, Middle Tenn, Hawaii, St. Joe's - the only midmajors left....I guess we'll see if they get taken out tonight - the way Wichita, Yale, & UALR did yesterday

Man, did UNI just get screwed. If Jesperson fouled then Mashpun got fouled and of course no call.

Another great game by #11 seeded UNI as they played #3 seeded Texas A&M tough and outscored them 14-3 over the last 7 minutes of the first half to take a 32-22 halftime lead. Then they maintained a double digit lead most of the 2nd half. Texas A&M was able to pull within 6 points with about 4 minutes in the game, but clutch shooting, free throws, rebounding, and good defense by UNI stretched their lead back to as much as 12 points.
But then UNI managed to blow a 12 point lead in the last 34 seconds because of 4 turnovers and bad decisions. Unbelievable.
The game is now tied 71-71 and going to overtime.

Washpun fouls out. UNI up 77-74 after a couple clutch threes by Morgan and Jesperson.

Lohaus makes another three and UNI is up 82-81 and inbounding the ball with 21 seconds left in OT.

UNI screwed themselves. You can lose a game up 12 and 40 seconds left. No excuse for that

In the 2nd OT, Texas A&M pulled ahead, and with Jesperson and Waspun fouled out, UNI was not able to come back.
                      Final score Texas A&M 92 UNI 88

And #7 seed Wisconsin got a miracle 3-pointer at the buzzer after a questionable charging foul call on #2 seed Xavier, to win and deprive Xavier of another appearance in the Sweet 16.

I thought it was definitely a charge. I'm not a Wisky fan at all but the defender did a great job there

OK. I thought the Wisconsin player was moving sideways and falling backward even before there was contact. The defensive player sold it.

Well it's the toughest call in basketball IMO??¦??¦.it didn't seem like anyone argued the call and the announcers didn't say much about it either??¦??¦it might have been the same way had it been called block??¦hard to say

Almost as bad as showing Bradley located in Indiana.

Gonzaga is the last of the mid-majors left in the tournament. The final 16 teams include all 4 #1 seeds. Only #10 Syracuse, and #12 Gonzaga are seeded higher than #5-

14 of the Sweet 16 teams were ranked in the preseason Top 25.
Syracuse and Xavier are the only 2 that were not in the preseason Top 25.
