Uh oh, ex-Northern Iowa coach and present Iowa State coach Greg McDermott may have run afoul of a new Big 12 gag rule that went into effect Jan. 1. The new rule says players cannot comment - favorably, unfavorably or even in generalities - about officiating.

This is why I don"t like the officials talking to any of the coaches during a timeout; obviously the officials were coached on what to look for at the end of this game; does anyone see what is wrong with this picture, officials are suppose to be neutral .

McDermott was always a master at working (intimidating?) the officials when he was in the MVC.....looks like nothing's changed.
