Congrats to the Morton High School Lady Potters - IHSA Champions back-to-back!

And they didn't just win - they dominated...
and they did it with their best player out all season with injury!

Yes, they won every game easily, including dominating wins over Chicago Morgan Park and North Lawndale in the semifinal and final game. They have some pretty good players, including the MVP of the tournament Brandi Bisping, just a junior, and sister of Brooke Bisping, who played at Bradley and is now an assistant coach for the Morton team. I hope our coach is recruiting them.

and the Supersectionals are Tuesday..

One 4A Supersectional features a matchup between Hoffman Estates Conant (D'Angelo McBride's school) vs. Rockford Auburn (Antoine Pittman's school)

One other 4A Supersectional features Chicago Curie (BU recruit Elijah Joiner)vs. Niles Notre Dame (coaches by TOM LES)

Other teams in Supersectionals include Joliet West (BU recruit Teyvion Kirk), Simeon (Ben Coupet, Zach Norvell)
and in 3A - Peoria Manual (with Romon Douglas-Watkins, Da'Monte Williams, and AJ Youngman), Morgan Park (Nick Robinson, Zion Morgan), and Belleville Althoff (Jordan Goodwin, Tarkus Ferguson, Brendon Gooch).

some are saying that Lincoln Way's upset of Chicago Morgan Park (Nick Irvin, Charlie Moore) is one of the most shocking upsets in a long time...
Lincoln Way used just 6 players and one of them fouled out.
