And the Players of the Game last night, both with double doubles, Donte Thomas and Ronnie Suggs.

Enjoyed watching us fight last night...just always sad to see the last game of the season...but for the 1st time in several years, there is hope for the coming year instead of feeling disappointed by a let-down season.

Sure, 5-27 ain't gonna rock anyone's world, but we have seen a slow, steady progression in the 2nd half of the season that is encouraging.

This group is playing better together and I can actually see some major upside in guys like D-Lo, Van Bree, and Suggs.

I really think Pitt is gonna be like a Will Franklin for us by his junior season if he stays as BU...and Donte is just solid as a rebounder and scorer every time I have watched him this season.

I think experience had a ton to do with Loyola coming out on top last night.
With their main guys each having 2-3 years more experience than ours, they knew what it took to win...and they outmuscled us a bit in the 2nd half.

That and the fact they started making three's midway through the 2nd half. Loyola was ranked 8th in 3 point FG% in league games with just 31.7%. But they went 10-23 last night. And Donte Ingram, who shot just 28.1% on threes for the year, got hot and hit 3 of them in the 2nd half. Even Jeff White, an 18.5% three point shooter made a key three.

In the end, some of the same problems that have plagued Bradley all season kept them from staying in the game- poor outside shooting, turnovers, and fouls.
Bradley had only 5 assists and a whopping 19 turnovers and they were only 5 of 17 on three pointers. They had 25 personal fouls and gave Loyola 32 free throw attempts. In addition, Luuk van Bree fouled out, and Donte Thomas, Antoine Pittman all has 4 fouls, and all of them, plus barker, had their playing time limited by fouls.
