Halftime score 29-29. Bradley started out playing well, then fell back into a stretch with awful turnovers, and bad decisions. DLO his at 45 footer at the buzzer to tie the game,

Bradley shooting 41.7%, and 33.3% on threes, but 12 turnovers hurt.

Pittman and Suggs with 8 points each, and Donte Thomas with 6 points and 7 rebounds.

        Bradley outrebounding Loyola 21-14

The first ~7 minutes were as well as Bradley has played at any point all year.
The next ~7 minutes were an illustration of what has caused us to lose so so much.
The final ~6 minutes we played about even with Loyola.

Need more of the first stretch, none of the middle stretch, and at worst play how we played the last stretch.
          Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

You're right Big Mike! I like Luuk, Pitt, DLO, James and Barker for defense.

                    Game story from BUBraves.com-
Montel James led all players with 20 points and 17 rebounds, offsetting a pair of double-double performances from Bradley, as Loyola earned a 74-66 win against the Braves to open the MVC Tournament.

                    Official Box Score-

Bradley had 4 guys in double figures, and 2 who had double-doubles. I don't think that has happened all year. I think Bradley would have won if Ingraham hadn't gotten hot in the 2nd half and carried them.

same story - too many completely unforced turnovers and missed opportunities

had a nice chance to chat with David Thirdkill, he came over to the hotel to greet the team and staff and was at the game...great to see him

Kudos to the Bradley crowd - probably at least 300, maybe 400 compared to the 50 or so from Loyola (not counting their band)

any surprise, Drake loses to the higher seed while being whistled for more fouls and going to the FT line substantially fewer times..

Was BU the first D1 team to end their season?

No there were other teams eliminated from their tournaments prior to yesterday. Ans SMU was not eligible for postseason play, so their season ended last night, too.

Former BU Hall of Famer Anthony Parker, who was being inducted into the MVC HOF, was at the game last night and spoke to the team in their locker room prior to the game.

There are also teams such as Cal State Fullerton & WIU who finished 9th in a conference that seeds only the top eight teams into their conference tourney and this they do not qualify
