New volleyball coach hired

Bradley has announced the hiring of Carol Price-Torok as their new head volleyball coach-

She has spent the last 8 years at University of Arkansas, where she was associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for the last four seasons.
She is originally from Fenton, Michigan.

he is the head soccer coach at University of the Ozarks about an hour & a half from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville

"Brittany Lownds ...who played outside hitter for Crystal Lake Central
...committed to NCAA Division I ....will play at Bradley

Lownds said she will be a preferred walk-on for the Braves, where she will join 2015 Northwest Herald Player of the Year Erin Olson of Cary-Grove. Olson was recruited by former Bradley coach Jenny Maurer, who left to become associate head coach at Central Florida. Lownds has played club with Olson for three years and played beach volleyball with her the past two years. Carol Price-Torok was hired to succeed Maurer at Bradley.

“After a qualifier that we had, Erin told me her coach was interested in me and told me to contact [Price-Torok],” Lownds said. “I went for a visit with Erin and it all came together.”

Lownds can earn a scholarship as she contributes more to Bradley’s team.

“I should be the next one to get one,” Lownds said."
