Actually, by beating Drake tonight, Bradley has already clinched the #9 seed and Drake clinched #10. Even if Bradley loses their last 2 games, and Drake wins their last 2, Bradley wins the tiebreaker, which, because they split the head-to-head competition, would be the non-conference SOS. Bradley's non-conference SOS is currently 64, while Drake's is 292.

Also, Bradley is 3 games behind the 8th place team Loyola with only 2 games left to play. So they are locked into the #9 seed for the tournament. Who they will play is yet to be determined. It looks most likely to be Loyola (currently 8th at 6-9), but could still be Missouri State or Indiana State (tied for 6th at 7-.

Gotta do better on FTs, Joel Okafor & Scottie James made the difference for us tonight, and Antoine Pittman had a great game

some of our guys helped their scoring averages tonight...

          DLO is now 9.35 ppg
          Luuk is now 9.11 ppg
          Pittman is now 8.07 ppg
I thought DLO played pretty well for the most part??¦??¦I think he had 5 assists and would have had a couple more but we got fouled on the shots??¦.he does some nice things defensively too. I know when he makes a turnover it's usually pretty ugly but he's had a decent string of games and shooting better too. James had some nice plays in the 2nd half and Pitt was our horse in the 2nd half. I think we have been waiting to see this kind of play from him..

I'm not impressed with Okafor really??¦he didn't make any mistakes really but he's such a non threat offensively??¦

I thought so too Big Mike??¦.even thought we didn't play real well the first 30 minutes it was still a fun game??¦..these guys work their heart out and it's hard not to like them??¦.even when they make some dumb plays

The 2nd tie breaker after head to head is RPI not non conf SOS.

I thinks he's coming into his own and he does not need to score to impact a game. But look out if this guy starts attacking and finishing.

Pitt and Luuk Suggs at the line DT all hit huge shots . James is a fighter. I hope he's here for the long haul.

The team continues to play better in many ways, and the 73 points were the highest point total in any game this season, despite a bunch of missed free throws, and a bunch of shots that seemed to be going through the rim, only to rattle back out.

If the new incoming players next year can help correct the obvious deficiencies this team has (ball handling, point guard play, shooting), and the schedule isn't so tough, we should see a nice progression and a lot more wins.

Speaking of recruits, we have word there was a recruit at tonight's game. More info is available by PM.

That is correct, thanks. The tiebreaker was changed. it used to be the non-conference SOS, but is now the RPI that is the 2nd tiebreaker after head-to-head. The SOS is only indirectly related now.

That still goes to Bradley currently. Drake's last 2 games are against Missouri State (217) and Loyola (223), while Bradley's final 2 games are against Evansville (92) and Indiana State (168 ). It may still be possible for Drake's RPI to catch up with Bradley's if they win their last 2 games and Bradley loses theirs.

Here is the MVC Tournament bracket- finishing as the #10 seed has one advantage this year over being the #9 seed. If they advance, they go against the #2 seed and avoid playing Wichita State.

                          The Bradley Scout nailed it..

"..clinched the ninth spot in the MVC....they’ll finish the regular season one spot higher in the MVC than last season."
..and we've almost gotten used to finishing LOWER than we were picked in the past few years but this year -- but now we're higher than we were picked

                          Coach of the Year!

I am not one to criticize officiating, but it seemed like the referees were not at their best. There were a lot of fouls that were bailout calls, it seemed like. That offensive basket interference was interesting, though.

They found a way to win, and it was fun to watch- for the most part. Go Bradley!

It felt good to have Bradley defeat Drake at Carver!! The coolest thing happened. My gf and I went to Agatucci's after the game for a pizza. Danny and Tony graciously greeted me. Then, as we were ordering in the dining room, Tony came to our table and asked me if he could talk to me for a minute. I followed him to the bar. Coach Wardle had come in and I didnt know it. So I got to say hi to the Coach. It was great. I told him I had been to 4 of the games they had won. He asked if I could come to Tuesday's game. LOL. I told him he had the full support of most fans and that we were all happy that the program appears to be headed upward. Coach was in there picking up some carry out food.

                                That was pretty cool.

Seeing Pittman go to the basket so many times showed how athletic he is. You could tell he was being told to. I also loved the way Scotty ripped the ball from Drakes grasp late in the game. We really never gave up. They couldnt bury us when they got ahead by 11. We just wouldnt go away. Boy it feels good. I know Drake isnt having a great year, but it still feels good to see the Braves win when they were down for most of the game.

                                Go Braves!!!
