Bradley is now 4-23, and 2-12 in the MVC.
SIU, who was picked 9th in the MVC Preseason poll, just a little ahead of 10th pick Bradley, is now 20-7, and 9-5 in the MVC, and they are tied for 3rd place. So far, I believe Barry Hinson is the likely MVC Coach of the Year.

Junior forward Sean O'Brien is their 2nd leading scorer with 12.1 ppg, and their 2nd leading rebounder with 5.8 rpg.
Junior college point guard transfer Mike Rodriguez has solidified the backcourt along with Beane. He is their 3rd leading scorer with 8.5 ppg, and leads them in assists with 3.2 apg.

Luuk also ranks in the Top 10 in the MVC in 3-point shooting percentage (for MVC games only). He is #10 at 39.0%, ahead of Van Vleet and Jesperson.

Luuk along with Missouri State's Ryan Kreklow and Drake's Billy Wampler are the only freshmen on the list.

and it could be four TO but Barker's pass got tipped out of bounds

Okafor has as many assists in 8 minutes as our PG generally gets in a 3 minute stint in a game

They are playing so confidently right now. No where near as tentative as most of the time this year. Still too sloppy at times, but so much better on offense than the last few games. Have to find a way to carry it over to the second half and we might get a huge upset!
I know Anthony Beane won't have another 0-7 half but these are the types of halves we need to see regularly.

a few less turnovers and fouls and we'd have the lead...that last shot was half way down and came out, too

They have to be the worst passing team in D1 basketball. I do think we are getting better but until we clean up the turn overs and start shooting better including Ft's we will continue to struggle.

Turnovers were the main story- some credit goes to SIU who forced a few of them, but there were many unforced ones due to poor passing. The shooting was not bad, and Bradley outrebounded SIU 41-33, but turnovers were 23-8!
