You have some really nice young players. I think you'll win a lot of games next year.

              Final:
              Illinois State 75 Bradley 60

              Stats-

It was nice to see the Braves come out in the 2nd half and make the game close, but the same factors we've seen all year took their toll- inexperience, foul trouble, missed free throws, and turnovers.
3 Bradley starters fouled out, and Bradley went just 7-19 from the FT line. But rebounding was strong, and shooting percentages were pretty good, considering ISU has a lot of long, athletic players.

Probably not the best of moves to have our SID whining about the officials on Twitter during the game. Not the fist time it's happened. Maybe if we could play defense without fouling.....

Couldn't agree with you more. When kids on D1 scholarships can't shoot 50 % from the free throw line with no one guarding them or turn the ball over as much as we do I would be embarrassed to complain about the stripes even if they were bad. We also are close to leading the Nation in fouls per 40 minutes. I attribute that to not being able to guard people. We need a PG in the worst way and until we get one we better get use to this .

I agree with you. We've lost 23 games. In several of those losses we were lucky to have 12 points at the 10 minute mark of the first half. That is not because of poor officiating.

After several games this season, people have complained about the officiating. The officials have missed calls throughout the season. That is going to happen. If you ask any basketball official, they will tell you, the sloppier the play the more difficult it is to officiate.

We have a young team that is in the learning stages of competing at the Division I level. Part of being an experienced basketball player is adjusting your game to the way the game is being officiated. We haven't learned how to do that yet. It will eventually come. I can't think of one game this season, where the officials determined the outcome.

If something was posted about the officiating on Twitter, during the Bradley game, by a Bradley employee, I would imagine that person will be told not to do that again. It is not very professional.

TCU was the worst I can think of.

One play from yesterday .... was the time they had I think McIntosh triple teamed under his basket... he makes some half ass attempt at a shot and instant foul call.....total bail out.. I was watching on computer though so didn't have greatest view..

the weak hand check fouls and the offense players initiating contact fouls when the defender just has his hands in the air are what I hate about basketball.

I hate the results, but I continue to follow this team and enjoy seeing when they do progress. I agree with Wardle that he will have Carver Arena rocking again. I'd love to see us dance before ISU does again.

Couldn't agree more. Next season, we will be much more competitive. I'm proud of the effort and the team. Go Coach Wardle and the young Braves!
