I agree that Shaw is the main guy to stop. His scoring could hurt us. I see our guards defending their guards OK.

Shaw is the main guy to stop. His scoring could hurt us. I see our guards defending their guards OK.

This just how it turned out. Shaw was the guy that hurt us the most with his ability to shoot well from outside. If not for those 2 late 3 pointers, Bradley could have put them away easily.

Bradley's guards are just as quick or quicker that SIU's, and can neutralize them with their tough defense. The Bradley zone was extremely effective, since their guards are not extremely good shooters.

If I was the SIU coach I would play Shaw on the perimeter all the time. He is, by far, the best outside shooter they have. For some strange reason, Tatum and Young, who was a very good perimeter shooter the last couple years, are not much of a threat now.
