it was one of those tough to watch games- both teams played pretty hideous
I must respectfully disagree. I wish this was the MVC-TV game this week as both teams played very well. This is game is what college basketball (or specifically, MVC basketball) is all about: A physical, energetic, emotional game that came down to the wire on more than one occasion (since it went to OT and nearly 2 OT's.) Neither team ever had a big lead and the momentum never stayed in one team's favor for more than a posession or two. We were in dire need of a conference win and we played very hard for 45 mins and so did the Panthers. UNI is a very good team, no doubt. Both teams played extremely hard and fought for this one tonight. This was an excellent basketball game for sure.
Wish the crowd was bigger, but thats what happens when you play a few bad games around here...crowd dwindles. I actually thought the attendance was bigger than what the box score says but Oh well. The fans that were there were quite loud all night. It was a small but mighty crowd
Missouri St. is running up the score BADLY ... I dunno why Hinson is trying to make this worse than it already is ... if I was an Aces fan I'd be really angry (not to mention the score).
Missouri State seems to really have UE's number.
Evansville has only won one of the last 12 meetings between the two,
that game being a 68-66 Evansville win on 1-28-04.
