My sons and I are thinking of making the trip over there for this one. This may be a long shot, but are any other Brave fans going?

The stands are almost empty. Unbelievable how poor Missouri State draws. Just a few years ago, they drew numbers close to what Bradley drew.

So possibly our worst scoring drought of season in a game we score season high in points???? Wtf

Also we have a time out with nearly 10 seconds left and Donte throws up an NBA three immediately? I'd like to think he was one of worst shooters on floor.

DLO all ball on the Boone foul late... Half a flop on the block against him

Bradley does their Jekyll & Hyde act, starting the game with a 20-2 deficit, and doing everything they can to embarrass themselves that first 10 minutes. But then late in the first half, and early in the 2nd, they fought back and hung in the game. They even closed to within 2 points inside the final minute, but couldn't get closer.

              Mo State 77

              Stats-

DLO with a nice game- 20 points, and van Bree with 18.
Bradley had 13 first half turnovers, and only 3 in the 2nd half.
They shot 36% in the first half, and 54% in the second half.

Bradley just needs to try to put together 2 good halves.

If we could've just skipped the first 10 minutes, this wouldn't have been a game. We just couldn't get going, and a 20-2 deficit just proved too much to overcome. If we played every game like we did the last 30 minutes of this one, then we would have a lot more than 3 wins to this point. Not saying we'd have a winning record or anything like that, but we played possibly the best 30 minutes we have all season against a D-1 opponent. It just sucks that it had to follow the worst 10 minutes we've played all season and those 10 minutes cost us the game.

they shoot 37 FT's on 24 fouls called against us....
..then they shoot 54.5% in the 2nd half (12-22) and yet we made a run on them and outplayed them...

I am proud of our guys for not quitting and for hanging in there...I appreciate the big time effort - and I think this might just help confidence...
                  I know it's a loss..but I certainly like some of what I see

And their "touted" freshmen went 7-15, 21 pts & 7 rebs
                  ..........our freshmen went 17-35, 58 pts, & 16 rebs
Okafor must really be deep in the doghouse...

Hey- last year - when we had an entire team with four years for the coach to build, 11 juniors & seniors (compared to only one now)
...we lost there by roughly the same margin to a Missouri State team that lost 14 of their last 17 games and finished even worse in the MVC than this year...

So proud of the way we came back after the horrific start by having 0 FG's in the first 11 1/2 minutes. Until we stop having these scoreless stretches we are going to have a hard time winning anything the rest of this season. What's becoming more of a concern is our centers. Barker, James and Cooper have averaged about 5 points and 5 rebounds over the last 5 games. Hard to win when it's essentially 4 on 5. Luuk is a hard matchup because he's quicker than most inside players and bigger than most guards but we can't exploit those matchups if he's not in the game. No excuse to have fouled out of 10 out of 24 games this season. Has to learn how to play defense without fouling. Suggs seems to have hit the freshman wall the last 3 games as he's 10 of 32 from the field and played 114 out of a possible 120 minutes. Hopefully DLO has turned the corner. We just need more guys to have a more consistent effort. Arch Madness begins in exactly 1 month. Not much time left.

Terrible start, no doubt. But the final 28 mins? Some of the best ball we've seen this season.

It took multiple circus shots, hand in face jumpers and some questionable calls for MSU to pull that one out. There is no way that a team of almost all freshmen should be ther better team on the floor, but for most of the game Bradley was the better team. They are definitely improving, just slower than some are comfortable with.

And it's is definitely noticeable that the team plays better when they play a little faster. Kudos to Coach for the adjustment over the past 2 games...I didn't think we'd crack 60 again this season let alone back to back 70 pt outputs.

The team is getting better for sure. Early in the year we would have one guy with a really good game and now we are getting guys having good games at the same time....we certainly have a couple of winnable games at home before the tournament....

I liked what I saw...well, I actually saw most of the first 12 minutes and about 10 minutes worth of the rest of the game, but we looked pretty good in our offensive flow - taking care of the ball, and playing decent on defense.

We do have some talent to work with - Von Brae, Ogunlae (shoot, I can't even spell these guys' names!), Suggs, Pittman

Barker I'm not thrilled about yet, but I think he'll develop.
