one thing that leaked...the early-season tourney they were in has been dropped..
they are no longer playing in the Lone Star Showcase..right before Thanksgiving in Austin, Texas

also...they...
" have three road games with Power 5 conference teams. Bell said SIU
would play a school-record eight home games and five road games in the
non-conference portion of its schedule.

SIU hasn't played a Power 5 team since opening at Missouri in 2013-14 for
$90,000. The Valley typically frowns on teams buying games, especially ones
on the road rather than on a neutral court, but the Salukis could use one. And
not only for the money, but for the national exposure."

SIU has what looks like three guarantee games on the road this fall at Arkansas, Minnesota and Louisville (a Pitino-family-double).
I think one of them - the one at Minnesota - is winnable! ..but these big schools pay $100K for a buy-game!

Loyola just released their non-conference schedule, with a little mention of how hard it is to land opponents...

but they get San Diego State in Chicago - they ought to be able to draw more than 2000. They also have two non-DI - Eureka (a DIII) and IU-NW (NAIA)

Missouri State's non-conference schedule has a couple good opponents, but a lot of weaklings

they start with two non-DI games, Missouri Baptist (an exhibition) and Fontbonne (regular season game)
but the rest of the opponents include...

then they play DePaul (201) once but then have a good possibility of meeting DePaul again in a Las Vegas Tourney

4 weeks from today is the first NCAA allowed team practice, which signals the official start of the 2016-17 basketball season. Unless there is a change, Bradley does not appear to be having any kind of "midnight madness" or open practice event (practices can now start at 7 PM, so in reality there are no midnight madness events any more).

The first official fan event will be the Thursday, Oct. 13, 6:00 PM Spaghetti Supper at the Itoo Hall. That is about 6 weeks away.

The starting times are released for most games... but not on the Bradley schedule yet
However - ISU has their times noted and
the Bradley vs. ISU on Feb. 11 does not start until 9 pm; and the Jan. 18 game is also a later-than-usual 8 pm
(presumably for TV)

I know we haven't been beating them but Bradley is finishing up their non-conference schedule with four TOP 50 RPI opponents
(Nevada, Texas-Arlington, Ole Miss, TCU)

no MVC team has played more Top 50 teams, most have played just 1 or 2, and ISU has played only one Top 50 team!
