      More low scoring...

Loyola 29 - Drake 26 at half - 5 of the 10 starters went scoreless in the 1st half

Northwestern got absolutely annihilated at Indiana 89-57
Nate Taphorn hit 50% of his shots (1-2) and had 3 pts but played very sparingly..
The entire starting frontcourt (van Zegeren, Lumpkin, Falzone) had just 5 pts/2 rebs/zero assists!!
The other guys Tap competes against for playing time (Lindsey, Ash, Skelly, Lumpkin) all combined for 0-7, ZERO points and 3 rebs in almost 90 combined minutes (almost 50% of the minutes played!)
If their starters are that bad - it's a stumper why Taphorn doesn't get a chance - he needs to find somewhere else to play.

precarious spot for Northwestern - everyone's favorite to capture an at-large bid this season -- they are now 3-5 and in 10th place in the Big Ten with an RPI of 107 and a SOS of 157 - (a non-conference SOS of 332) - if they get an at large bid then someone needs to investigate who's making payoffs to the Selection Committee.
Even ISU has way better numbers...

Final score between two of the bottom dwellers...in a battle for last place..
        Loyola 68 - Drake 63

the final minute or so of this game took about 1/2 hour due to all the timeouts, stoppages, FT's and video reviews....
...what has happened to Milton Doyle?

Loyola surges to 2-6, while Drake drops to 0-8 to keep Bradley out of last place

They had Landry Shamet as a player to watch too. He hasn't played since November.

            ISU wins by nine
Box score for the Illinois State Redbirds vs. Northern Iowa Panthers NCAAM game from January 23, 2016 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

the difference in the game is one 12 minute per game sub who hits 5-6 from the arc - totally changes the game
curious why we haven't recruited a shooter since Andrew Warren left?
