  • Cellus has not returned to Hungary yet

Marcellus Sommerville was due to return to Hungary and resume his season with his Hungarian League team, Atomer?…???m?…?± SE.
The season resumed yesterday, and Atomer?…???m?…?± SE won to raise their record to 7-5. However, Marcellus Sommerville did not arrive back in Hungary in time to play.

    Box score--

Here is an article from a Paks newspaper that mentions Marcellus, and the translation I was able to get says the team expected him back in time for the game, but he didn't make it. Maybe it was just travel problems? We'll try to confirm the Cellus is returning for the remainder of the season.

this is on the BU website today about cellus

In other Bradley Basketball news on the European front, forward Marcellus Sommerville???‚¬?„?s contract in Hungary has been bought out by Angers BC 49 in the French Pro B league. Sommerville, a three-time All-MVC performer at Bradley, made his French debut Friday with 19 points and four rebounds in a 73-69 loss.

Sommerville joins former Valley Defensive Player of the Year Jerome Robinson in France???‚¬?„?s Pro B league. Robinson plays for Etendard de Brest. While Sommerville???‚¬?„?s new squad is last in the 18-team Pro B league with a 4-11 record, Robinson???‚¬?„?s side begins the week tied for fifth with an 8-7 league record. Robinson is averaging 13.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for his French team. A third former Brave, Aba Koita, played in the Pro B league as recently as the 2004-05 season, but he currently is not listed with a club this year.

Former Bradley star Anthony Parker continues to collect honors for his play in Europe, while Marcellus Sommerville has joined another former Brave, Jerome Robinson, in France's Pro B league.? Sommerville made his French debut Friday with 19 points and four rebounds for Angers BC 49.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather play in France than Hungary.

Here are a couple releases from his new team , Angers BC 49--

This one looks like it was just lifted from last years Bradley prospectus--

Does Cellus' wife and kid(s) travel with him, or stay stateside?

They were with him in Hungary. I'm sure they will be in France with him too.

That's very good, I think'd be tough to do it without the family.
