I know BW doesn't want the guys to pass up any open shot....I've heard him yell plenty for guys to shoot the ball even when early in the shot clock.....but we have struggled with foul trouble virtually every game so that's why I thought it was possibility
You are most likely correct. I hope they speed up play so these shot clock violations go awwway.
We are terrible. It shows in a game like this where our opponent is even worse than us and we can't pull away.
I'm getting tired of watch this crap every game
What a joke.
No reason why Porter should still have a job.
I'm officially done with this year. They have shown no improvement if anything they are worse than the start of the year. This loss is ridiculous. Unbelievable
Well, tonight has convinced me that the Ramblers will do ANYTHING to get a "L" in their record.
We just lost to one of the worst teams in the country...at home. This means that, as we are playing right now, we are one of the worst teams in the country.
When will we be consistently good year after year? It gets more frustrating as the years pass by.1985- wow,the last time we were in the Big Dance.
We feel their pain.
But what kind of fans does Loyola have? The attendance was 1,386! And there was probably less than half that many people actually in the arena, and a good portion of those who were there were Bradley fans. That is a massive embarrassment for the MVC. Loyola should never have been invited to join the MVC. There were 5 or 6 other schools that would have been better choices to replace Creighton, that would be drawing several times what Loyola draws. If they can't draw at least 3000+ fans every game, they don't deserve to be in the MVC.
And I have made my opinions about Porter Moser clear in the past. Loyola will never be any good until they get a good coach.
Thanks for the Versace article link. I just the Coach brought so much pride back to Bradley BB! Ill never forget our March over good teams to win the 1982 NIT!!!!!

Will never forget the plane trip which was arranged quickly after the semi-final game by Ken Goldin. In fact there were 2 plane loads. Won't forget the trip to Salt Lake City to cap off a 32-3 season. Thanks for the memories Coach Versace.

Help,help,help!!!!!!!!!
"We are one of the worst teams in the country" according to a Loyola board poster. Yes, we are struggling, rebuilding, but lets consider that we have also played a brutal schedule. How does our strength of schedule rank against Loyolas strength of schedule? Our record would be better without playing the likes of Arizona, Virginia, Seton Hall and a very tough Texas Arlington team. Then we start the 1st 4 games against the very top of the MVC. Just sayin....

Reason: premature send
2015-2016 Men's College Basketball Strength of Schedule (SOS): a measure of a team's strength of schedule or schedule strength compare to other teams' schedules. opponents' wins, losses, and winning percentage are also included.
Counting only the non-conference SOS
Bradley #64
Loyola #294

I went and checked Bradleys RPI. It was just 237. Do I remember it being 300 or something like that earlier? Are we climbing in the RPI? I am just looking for positives.
Yes, I too wonder what kind of fans Loyola has? When your team needs you, you stand behind them and support them. I am sure that there are fair weather fans all over the country that immediately cant tolerate losing. Last year at this time, I was screaming for change, but it was because I had endured 4 years of the previous regime and couldn't take it any longer. LOL.
Bradley's RPI dropped to its lowest point of 290 after the losses to Towson, New Orleans, then Ole Miss. Most of the season it has ranged between 260-280, mainly because they were playing some good teams.
Here is a graph of the Bradley RPI this season. The series of blue dots represents the actual RPI, which is up to 237 today-
I was wondering why Porter Moser didn't call a timeout. Did he not have any left?
iirc he had one left. But I can't blame him for not calling it, they got three good looks that I still am surprised didn't go in. All three shots hit the rim and bounced like they were about to fall.
