I was thinking about this the past few weeks. Bradley has played better than anyone expected so far, and it is a credit to the players and the coaches. I am proud of this group.
A couple weeks ago, I would have said Jeremy Crouch was our POY with Ruffin, Franklin, Andrews and Salley all close behind.
But now I would have to say Will Franklin. Will has been so consistently good, and clutch. He is shooting 46% overall, and 47.5% from 3point range. Nearly all his shots come from outside. He also is tied with Daniel Ruffin for the lead in assists with 74 (though Ruff has played 3 fewer games), leads in steals, and is tied with Ruff for A/TO ratio. He rebounds well for aguard, and he has played fantastic defense. For a kid who was not highly recruited, Will has turned out to be a very talented and valuable player.
I don't mean to slight Ruffin, Zach, Matt, and JC because they have all played great. Ruffin runs the offense so well, and is so sure-handed for as fast as the pace is. And we would not have won half as many games if not for Zach. But my vote goes to Will so far.
