A search of alternate online streaming sites does not appear to show any bootleg sites that will carry the game either. Sometimes streaming links will appear on the day of the game, so check back and we'll report if any become available.

          Halftime:
          Bradley 33
          Boise St. 46

Bradley's offense in the first half at Boise State was not as stagnant as it has been, but their defense was porous, and they continue to foul and turn the ball over way too much. Boise State shot 48% thanks to a bunch of layups.
Bradley had 14 team fouls and 7 turnovers, allowing BSU to go 16-21 from the FT line.
Donte Thomas and Luuk van Bree have 3 fouls
          Pittman has a team-high 13 points.

Bradley shoots 12 FTs, Boise State shoots 34
The tendency for our big men to all pick up 2 or 3 fouls in the first few minutes of every game is not only bizarre and hard to explain - but it kills any real chance we have to play defense inside.
Is there some class all NCAA refs take to make sure they get this accomplished?

This was the best Bradley has played offensively all year. The 70 points was easily their best point production all season (previous high was 61 points the last 2 games against UT Arlington and Maryville).
The 41.9% shooting percentage was their 2nd best only to the 42.2% they shot at home against D2 Maryville.
Also, the 37.5% (9-24) they shot on three pointers was their 3rd best percentage of the season, and by far the most 3-pointers they have made in any game (previous high was 6).
Plus, their 75% Free Throw shooting (9-12) is one of their best FT shooting performances of the season.

Unfortunately, this also was probably their worst defensive performance of the year. They fouled 23 times, allowing 28 points on 34 FT attempts. That is by far the most points given up at the free throw line to any team all season. Plus, Bradley's poor defense allowed a ton of points in the paint (still awaiting the final statistics), which has been a major weak point all year.

the Valley as a whole is really weak at the bottom...
if we can put together some good offensive and good defensive games simultaneously - I still believe we can battle for any spot from 5-10th..
but if we have outings like today or at Delaware...then we're definitely playing Thursday..

btw- Boise State's next home game is UC-Davis who also lost most of their starters & is rebuilding

When POB was a freshman he got the ticky-tack fouls called on him all the time...
but they didn't call as many as a soph....and he only fouled out once his 2nd year.
I think that's what's happening...refs know who the newbies are...and we've been seeing it for decades....The freshmen need to adjust to the way its called in D1, and I think they just want to let the new guys & freshmen know who is boss...

All three of our starting frontcourt simply couldn't take a breath today without the whistle blowing and getting called for a foul.
Just as have seen the refs changing their pattern from the 60-foul games early in the season - we will also see this pattern change as we get on later into the season...hang in there.

I was out of town on business, and a little bit of pleasure. get back last night, and thanks to Tivo, I was able to watch the BU vs. Boise State game. I feel pretty good about how we performed in that game. A lot of encouraging things to build on from that one. Nothing to feel a shamed of in that one, as that was a very good BSU team. We showed a lot of fight in that game. Hats of to the coaches and the players.

But maybe as the players get used to it they play better defense without fouling too....the speed in college is a pretty tough adjustment for a freshman big
