after the game when the teams were shaking hands Dr. Tom stopped Coach Buescher Sr. and asked him something. If I read lips right, CB said that he would have to check on it. I wonder if anyone caught it and had any idea what they were chatting about? It's driving me crazy.

Noticed that, too. I wouldn't read too much into it. I had guessed it was probably either an invitation to dinner sometime or a compliment about how good the players he developed at Central have proven to be, especially because of how well Ruff controlled the game last night.

I can't claim to be an expert at reading lips, but at first, I thought that there was some type of dispute between Dr. Tom and Chuck, but I'm absolutely certain that at the end of the short exchange, Chuck said "thank you, thank you very much". So I agree that it was a pleasant exchange between coaches - it just took longer than a simple handshake!!

Davis talked on his radio show, and to the press after the game about his admiration for how the Bradley coaches have redone their system to maximize the skills of the players they have this year. He said many of the same things I heard Bruce Weber say a few weeks ago when Bradley played Illinois.
Probably when Davis talked to Buescher he was just complimenting him. Other coaches are smart enough to appreciate what a great job the BU coaches have done.
