Northern Iowa stayed close with George Mason, then pulled out to a double digit lead in the final minutes and hung on for a 73-65 win.

One other interesting score- South Dakota State of the Summit League dominated Minnesota, and lead virtually the whole game by as much as 24 points for an 84-70 win tonight at Minnesota.

Minnesota's previous game was a home loss to South Dakota. So after endearing himself to the Minnesota fans with 25 wins in his first year, their most since 1996-97, Richard Pitino dropped to 18-15 last year, and now has lost back to back home games to Summit League teams to fall to 5-4. He does have a good recruiting class signed for next year, so things may rebound.
