For WSU, latest I've heard is that Fred is "going to give it a go". I'm not sure I'm a fan of that. St Louis is not that good this year. I think we could hold him out UNLV on Wednesday and be fine. But I'll leave that up to coach, Fred and the Doctors.

Also Frankamp could become eligible anytime now. His last scheduled final is Tuesday. As soon as his grades are posted with the registrar, he can play. So he could be eligible anytime from this Saturday all the way to next Saturday vs Utah. It all comes down to if the professors lets him take his finals early (like any other student is allowed to, with professor approval) and how long it takes for the professor to grade and post it. The date grades are due by is the 10th I believe.

As Marshall has says "The Cavalry is coming". Hopefully between them returning and the wake up call to everyone else last week, we will start to see WSU perform closer to expectations.

EDIT: Update: Frankamp will be eligible Wednesday vs UNLV, so looks like maybe just Fred if any additional players for Saturday vs St. Louis

if he gets hurt in a 25 pt blowout of a weak SLU team, would it be worth it...

Exactly my point. I don't think we need him. Suit him up if needed, Keep him warm on a bike, but don't put him in unless absolutely needed. If he can wait 5 more days to test it, I'd feel better.

Go Loyola! I would love to see Creighton get beat by the team that replaced them in the MVC. Loyola is up 29 to 25 at the half.
If you cant go to school go to STATE!!

                Loyola beats Creighton 64-59
Box score for the Loyola Chicago Ramblers vs. Creighton Bluejays NCAAM game from December 5, 2015 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

Creighton did not look very good to me. Their bench didn't give them much.
Creighton does have a freshman guard, Khryi Thomas, who is really impressive. He shot 9-10 from the floor and 4-4 from three. But he missed a couple free throws late that would have tied the game.
The 6 other guards who played for Creighton were a combined 3-26 from the floor, and 0-9 from three. Could be another long year for Creighton.

nice win by Creighton...and Loyola was playing without their starting big man Montel James..
and I know it's unlikely but with 0.8 seconds left, Creighton's Martin Krampelj rebounds a missed free throw then dribbles the ball!!
What the hey - throw a desperation 3-pointer....again, I know it's unlikely but it HAS HAPPENED...why did the guy just dribble out the final second?

Creighton is now 19-22 since the departure of Doug McDermott..

Indiana State lost 85-71 at Butler

Missouri State leads Oklahoma State 43-35 with 12 min to go
Drake trails Bowling Green 40-34 at half
The other six games are later

and a couple more interesting games....

On ESPN right now - Kansas is struggling and cannot put away Harvard! It's Kansas 61 - Harvard 56 with about 4 min to go
Arizona & Gonzaga in a good game - AZ up 66-63 with 1:48 left- Wiltjer has 33 for Gonzaga, Sabonis has 18 pts/13 reb

                  More Big Ten
Northwestern beat SIUE 81-54- Taphorn got the start and went 3-4 from the arc - his backup, Aaron Falzon however went 5-10 from the arc and had 17 pts
Illini struggled for a while vs. Western Carolina but now pulling away late 76-63 with a minute left - Michael Finke is awesome, 9-15, 24 pts, 6 reb
Minnesota going to OT against South Dakota 59-59. Minnesota's guards (five of them) have combined for just 2 assists! SD's point guard McClelland has 8 assists

(btw- if anyone has driven on I-74 today you prob saw gobs & gobs of Iowa fans traveling east...but they're not heading to Champaign - they're going to Indianapolis for this- LINK)
