there's still time to redeem themselves, and I hate to pile on but....
but I think the "draft stock" of both Fred Van Vleet & Ron Baker have taken a hit as well..

as a duo, they are now seniors and everyone expected the Shockers to be dominating - and they were picked as a Top-10 team - yet the only DI team they've beaten is a 325 RPI team - and teams they've lost to are all unranked teams.

For Fred- the NBA guys will be a bit cautious about his injury-proneness
and for Ron Baker - this should be his time to shine, as he's the only go-to guy they have, yet they can't win and Baker's numbers, although good, are not exactly eye-popping..
His 3-pt shooting isn't even Top 10 in the MVC and not even Top-200 in NCAA.
..and for a "below-the-rim" player who might be seen as having likely trouble guarding 2-guards in the NBA (Jimmy Butler, Harden, Beal..) he's at least gotta have some outside scoring prowess and be able to dish off (he's only barely inside the Top-10 in the MVC in assists - fewer total assists than DLO)
DraftExpress updated their 2016 Mock Draft and dropped Labissiere but now have Baker all the way to the bottom of the 2nd round.
I do find it interesting tho how the injury excuse gets played readily for some teams then not allowed for others

ESPN guy also wonders if Shockers are at-large team..
      "resume underwhelms"

...even some of the Shocker fans are all but booking plans for the NIT - LINK

      here's a hypothetical...

Wichita is 12-2 in the MVC and their final four Valley games are against Missouri State (have won 7 of last 12), Indiana State, Loyola (won 5 of last 8 ), and ISU (won 6 of last 7) - they COULD go 2-2
ISU is 9-4 in the MVC and their final five games are against Bradley, indiana State, UNI, SIU then ....Wichita again - let's say.....they could sweep...
and then maybe ISU has the tiebreaker and goes into St. Louis as the TOP SEED?
