A valiant effort but it fell apart in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half. ISU really plays as a bunch of individuals, there doesn't appear to be much chemistry or playmaking. A lot of individual athletes looking to take their opponent 1-on-1. Kinda reminds me of Bradley last year...but more talent on the floor.

I agree. ISU was still fighting to the end, and really impressed. ISU even appears to have had Calipari so worried he was constantly yelling at his players down the stretch.

ugly game - low shooting pct, 51 fouls, 31 turnovers, UK shoots 46 FTs, 25 missed 3-pointers and lots of missed shots & FTs
ISU had 'em then reverted to too many head-down 1-on-3 or 4 drives
..then the refs went whistle happy and dragged the game out to about 2 and a half hours...

UNI wins at home, MVC goes to 34-30 with 7 of those wins over non-DIs

attendance at Kentucky surprised me - it was 21,894 - their smallest crowd of the year - and a couple thousand less than capacity, and the smallest regular season home crowd since they played Boise State December 10, 2013.
Their seating capacity is over 23,500 but they have had crowds as large as 24,479 with standing room

Calipari has a real job on his hands - he really does NOT have the talent he usually does, and his players seem very selfish and not playing together as a team.

Kentucky is very raw in the post. They do not have the big that can dominate like they have had in the past. Ulis stirs their drink. Without him they can not run a lot of their offense like they want.
