Koch Bar (#31 in dark uniform in this picture below) has a talented sophomore teammate Luguentz Dort (the guy who is dunking)...
Dort is already blowing up and is visiting Florida this week
Arlington Country Day was up 10 when their star guard Lugentz Dort went down hard, was out for 10 minutes then was taken off on a stretcher-
the stories say that Dort is a cousin of BU recruit Richardson Maitre who plays for West Oaks.
they play Saturday at 6pm (Eastern) in Florida
In this particular matchup, Koch Bar will again be given the task of guarding one of the very top big men in the entire nation.
He's already faced 4 or 5 of the top 25 big men nationally and now faces GPS's 7-footer Victor Uyaelunmo, who already has offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgetown & others.
Note that another one of Koch bar's teammates now is Bradley commit Jayden Hodgson, who has transferred and is now playing with Bar at the Arlington Country Day Prep school in Jacksonville, Florida-
ACD seized a 45-38 lead with a furious 7-0 run, capped off by a Jayden Hodgson 3-pointer in the third quarter.
Hodgson, out of Australia, hit several loud shots.
The underrated Class of 2016 combo guard will prolong his career at Bradley alongside Bar.

I realize this is highlights for the other team but ACD's defense seems lacking in this game. I may have been wrong but it looks like a lack of failing to cut off the driving lanes and maybe too much reliance on blocking a shot. Did anyone else see that? Am I wrong?
That is how it seemed all the teams in the Washington Tournament of Champions played. And I think it is tyopical of prep schools. Very little defense is played.
Unfortunately no box score or individual stats that I can find...
but ACD (now 20-8 ) beat Downey Christian for their 6th win in a row..but one fact about Downey is that their best player is an 8th grader who is averaging 22.4 points per game against nationally rank-caliber high school opponents.
The kid's name is Julian Newman and he still has four years of high school eligibility left...

Here is a current video of the kid, Julian Newman. He is still very small, even for an 8th grader. I am sure his parents are hoping for a big growth spurt.
